Frequently asked questions
When is it time to replace Excel with a web application?
When your spreadsheet has become too large for one administrator, when multiple people need to work in it simultaneously, or when the risk of errors has grown too high. A simple rule: if you use Excel as a database, you need an application.
Can my existing Excel data be carried over into the new application?
Yes. Existing data gets migrated to the new database. Depending on the structure of your file, that can happen fully automatically or with a manual verification step — we discuss that upfront.
How long does it take to build an Excel replacement?
That depends on the complexity of your spreadsheet. A straightforward replacement is ready in four to eight weeks. More extensive systems with multiple integrations take longer.
What does it cost to build a web application to replace Excel?
After a free intro call we put together a fitting quote. Costs depend on scope — the number of screens, the amount of logic and any integrations with other systems. Well-defined parts get a fixed price; bespoke work gets an honest, transparent time estimate.
