Club Academy unites a fresh public club site with a gated coaching academy: members find classes, schedule and news, while coaches manage and pass on the sports club's training methodology in a gated environment.
The story
A sports club needs two faces: an inviting exterior for members and parents, and a structured interior for coaches. Club Academy brings both together in one web application, so club info and training methodology no longer live scattered all over the place.
In the gated academy the training methodology is built up step by step: from discipline down to a single drill, with photos and videos per element. Five roles each have their own permissions, so everyone sees exactly what is meant for them.
Ruby on Rails with a roles-and-permissions system, media per training element and a class schedule that syncs automatically via iCal. Hosted on European servers, with daily backups.
